Immediately
- Ventolin nebules x2
- 10 u regular insulin SC*
- 1/2 amp D50 IV*
- *given together at these doses there is usually no significant net change in glucose
- Kayexalate 15 g PO QID (slow but start early)
- Review PMHx, meds (digoxin?) and recent labs to assess risk of hypercalcemia b/c may also need calcium gluconate
