Also known as LAD coronary T-wave syndrome.
Patients with this finding have high likelihod of LAD stenosis.
It is a preinfarction stage of CAD.
Acute MI occurs within a mean of 21.4 days after symptoms and 6-8.5 days after admission
Cardiac enzymes may be normal or minimally elevated.
There is no pathologic precordial Q-waves.
There is no loss of precordial R wave progression.
Type 1 is more common (75% of cases)
Type 2 is less common (25% of cases)
Management:
Early revascularization is superior to medical management in preventing acute MI
