1. First-line:
   • Locacorten otic (Clioquinol 1% and flumethasone pivalate 0.02%), 10 mL
     • Otic solution (drops): Instill 2-3 drops into affected ear(s) 2 times/day; generally limit duration to 10 days
     • Thorough cleaning of the external ear prior to and during therapy either by wiping or gentle syringing is essential.
