Screening mammograms are indicated for all females aged 50-74 every 2 years
- Screen annually in females with risk factors:
- abnormal biopsies in the past
- family history of breast or ovarian cancer
- high mammographic breast density
- certain benign breast conditions such as atypical ductal hyperplasia or atypical lobular hyperplasia
