Antibiotics for both conditions
Preseptal cellulitis may be managed as an outpatient
Orbital cellulitis requires inpatient treatment with IV antibiotics and close monitoring.
In patients who fail to respond to antibiotics or have progressive vision loss, surgical decompression is indicated.
