Classic presentation

• 3-6 week old infant with progressively worsening forceful vomiting
• Vomit may have "curdled milk" appearance and occur hours after last feed
• Late presentation may include features of dehydration

 

Labs

• Always assess for hypochloremic alkalosis

 

Diagnosis

• Ultrasound

 

Disposition

• Emergent consult with pediatric surgeon
