Most common
     1. Benign colloid nodule
     2. Follicular adenoma (benign, may be watched or treated surgically)
Thyroid cancer (less than 10% likelihood of cancer in a nodule)
     1. Papillary carcinoma
     2. Follicular carcinoma (invasion of capsule and blood vessels)
     3. Anaplastic carcinoma
     4. Medullary carcinoma
Dx
     FNA can detect characteristic nuclear changes of papillary cancer
     FNA cannot be used to differentiate follicular adenoma from follicular cancer
