Calculating Prostate Volume BPH
Posted by dkwinter

Volume of an ellipsoid (like the prostate, hematoma, etc.):

Volume (mL) = L x W x H x pi/6

Volume (mL) ≈ L x W x H x 0.52

L, W, H are in cm.

Normal prostate size is up to 30 mL.

Enlargement is normal with increasing age.
