Dyspnea
PE
Tachycardia
Tachypnea
Subcutaneous emphysema
Radiography
Unilateral pleural effusion (usually left)
Subcutaneous or mediastinal emphysema (widened mediastinum)
Contrast extravasation from the esophagus after a swallow study
Labs
Pleural fluid will have
High amylase concentration
Low pH
May contain particles of food
