Urinary analgesic
- Contraindicated if CrCl<50
- Dye that exerts local analgesic action on urinary tract mucosa
Adult dose (labeled):
- Oral: 100-200 mg 3 times/day after meals for 2 days when used concomitantly with an antibacterial agent
Commonly effective dose
- 100 mg PO BID
