First line:

• Gravol (Dimenhydrinate) 50 mg IM/IV/PR (same dose) (16h) PRN. Antihistamine. Works in CTZ. Depresses labyrinthine function due to anticholinergic activity.
• Maxeran (Metoclopramide) 10 mg IV (over 1-2 min). Antidopaminergic, antiserotonergic at CTZ.
• 1L NS

Second line:

• Zofran (Ondansetron) 8 mg IV (q12h) PRN. Serotonin antagonist both peripherally and in CTZ.
• Pantoloc/Tecta (Pantoprazole) 40 mg IV (q24h) PRN. Proton pump inhibitor.
